LOCATION : LOUIS VUITTON FOUNDATION

Designed by American architect Frank Gehry, the Louis Vuitton Foundation was built in the Bois de Boulogne in the west of Paris between 2006 and 2014. Giving the illusion of movement, this spectacular construction has been described as a glass vessel sailing towards Paris.

The building is 3 stories high with terraces on the 2nd floor (the East Terrace and the West Terrace) and 2 more terraces on the 3rd floor. This is also a floor below ground level. It is surrounded by water with a waterfall to the east side of the building.

It houses a total of 11 galleries of varying sizes as well as a split level auditorium.
